Wowee!!! It's been a while since my last post. Can you tell we are in basketball season??? I can't stay above water right now! Christmas came and went, then there were a few snow days, which were extremely fun! We ended up with maybe a couple of inches! After the kids finally got back in school two days later Bubba and I left for San Antonio with the basketball team!
It couldn't of been better timing for me...this is the peak of the season right now and I was happy to take some time off! I was very thankful that Bubba thought in advance to schedule me in for this trip! I tell you what, it spoiled me rotten! This now should be an annual thing! OH HOW I DREAM!!!! I had a great time with Bubba hanging out when possible, relaxing, and eating some really good Mexican food! When Bubba wasn't available I was able to spend some time with Courtney, our assistant coaches wife and friend. We had way too much fun shopping and seeing the sites of San Antonio!

WoW!!! That's about all I can say. It was really nice to be able to connect with Bubba for a bit while still in season. So many times during the season we just see one another in passing of kiddos or games! It's rare that we actually get uninterrupted conversation and meal time! It was really a gift! I was so thankful to my family who was gracious enough to each take two kids for four days! WHAT A BLESSING!

We arrived home on Sunday and by that point I was ready to see my kiddos! THAT WAS A BLESSING TOO! I felt renewed and ready to tackle the rest of the season! Did I say that????
Anyways, when we went to get Isaac on Monday morning from Nana's he literally hugged me for a minute and a half! Now if you know Isaac he is not a big hugger... HE REALLY MISSED ME!!!! AWW.... Mary B., of course, never let go of her daddy and was beaming from ear to ear when she saw us! The most precious part is seeing the kids interact when they all reunited! It was so cute they all hugged all over each other. Izzy and Isaac embraced like it had been months! I just love our big family, I love our moments together (as insane as it is), and even at times I appreciate our moments apart... it makes us all appreciate one another more!!! Thank you Jesus for all your blessings!!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!!! Can anyone tell I have been on vacation???!!!

So now here we are back in the grind! Early rising, devotional time, homework, basketball practice, games, doing puzzles, listening to Izzy at four in the morning wake randomly with shouts for "MAMA!" I am so thankful for it and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
Although it was nice to walk away and appreciate it from a distance for a little while!Oh and by the way the sweetest ending to our trip was the whole family picking up Charlie from the kennel! He licked and loved all over all of us!!! It is kinda cheesy to say... but he really does complete the whole group! Fur and all!
