So we had our first community league basketball game this weekend! The kids were so excited they could hardly wait! Isaac did a great job passing, shooting, and playing defense! I think he scored three buckets, with the help of one fast break by his team mate Evan! At times "we" probably shot more than "we" should with a behind the back shot that wasn't necessary, ha! Those are all things we can improve on for next game! When he got home from the game the first thing Isaac said was "Mom, I got to get better at my rebounding!" I thought to myself "Wow, I hope this kind of work ethic makes it to highschool!" Mary B did equally as well, she played some really aggressive defense and always had her hands up! It is amazing how focused she is, and she made some great passes! Did I mention she is a great cheerleader too!
Nana and Pappaw were there to help out thank goodness. I am coaching Isaac's team when Bubba can't be there, so I really need help with the younger two! Pappaw held Izzy down till she finally fell asleep. We all enjoyed the game a little more after that!
