The Sunday before Easter we had a busy weekend with recruits and a cookout! Bubba's parents came in on that Saturday and spent the night. The kids love for them to come up and see us in our element! They love having the grandparents around for sporting events, school lunches, or just to hang out! On Sunday morning a couple of times in the fall we have taken the kids hiking, and they love it! So we decided to try it again with the grandparents, and we had a blast! It was a beautiful Sunday morning, Isaac led the way with Mary B. right behind him, Izzy was in the baby bjorn, and Nana, Pappaw, and I tried to keep up with Emma! It was a good time.
We did run into a great LARGE rock at the bottom of our hike... If you know anything about Bubba, you know HE LOVES A GOOD CHALLENGE!!!! So he decides he is going to scale this rock! I am like, "Bub, come on are you serious?" The kids are at the bottom of it screaming "GO DADDY, GO DADDY" he ate it up!!!! Mary B then yells in her most southern accent... "DADDY, DON'T YOU DIE, YOU HEAR ME!" She is such a daddy's girl! Good thing he found his way back down, uh?
