Izzy is 10 months old

I know I won't keep up with this blog the way I would like to! It's been so tempting in the past to start one, but actually doing it hasn't happened till now! So we will see... I love looking at all my friends blogs, although I don't write or process my thoughts half as well as them! Well, here is day 1 and I am excited to tell you about our life....

Saturday Isabelle Lott Smith turned 10 months old! "Izzy" has been the biggest joy of our life ever since she came into this world! The kids adore her and so do we! I can already tell she is a lover, she is such a cuddle bug and absolutely loves her daddy (which has not been normal at this age). With that being said it's hard to believe we are just 2 months away from her first birthday! It' s hard to believe how much has happened in just one year a baby, a new job, a move, new schools, new house, and a new team! Poor Izzy doesn't know anything else than the chaos she is surrounded by everyday! The great thing is she loves it... She can't wait for the kids to get home from school. Emma (2) and Izzy have a really unique relationship also. Emma for some reason has a very strong affection for Izzy. To the point where if we aren't watching them, someone (Izzy) could be seriously injured!!! I REALLY MEAN IT, in the last five minutes I have saved Izzy from being drug across the wood floor by her feet!!!! Five minutes before that she was being shoved in a closet with the lights out... SCAREY!!!! Poor Emma, it's been a process for her too, not being the baby anymore. I think she has handled it well and in some way much prefers to be the older more RESPONSIBLE big sister!!!! Who, might I also say is potty trained, thanks to many many bags of M&M's!!!!
