Our sweet Emma!

Last week was a big event in the Smith house! Our sweet Emma graduated from her preschool class! It was so cute, they sang a lot of songs like "wally watcha" which is Emma's favorite and I am little teapot! Emma sang and Izzy tried to participate many times over. Always wanting to be with her sissy! Then they handed out a precious end of the year book of photos and Emma's quotes! We have really loved having Emma at this preschool and feel really fortunate that she loved it so much and had so many sweet friends.

It's so hard to believe that she is already moving out of this stage! It seems like yesterday we moved and she was just barely two. Now we are going on four, and Miss Emma couldn't be cuter! I would consider her our "rule keeper," she keeps everyone in line here even Charlie! At times I will find him with a leash on in the house being guided around by Emma! I really think she is gifted to be in administration or head of something! The poor child would love nothing more than to run out of the yard with her big sister and friends to play and be apart of all their adventures. Sadly many days I have to decline, and it just breaks her heart! She truly thinks she is capable of anything and desire help from no one. This is especially true in the kitchen, mark my words, she will be a great cook! She loves to cook! At least every couple of days, we will make a dessert or meal together. She has actually learned how to crack an egg all by herself!

It's funny because Mary B. and Izzy both are big snugglers with daddy, but EMMA is MINE!!!! She loves to snuggle and rub my belly still! Over the past year she has probably woken up in the middle of the night EVERYNIGHT to come down stairs and get in between Bubba and I. I don't know if this is from the move or what, she was our best sleeper as a baby?! Sometimes we take her back to bed, but sometimes she snuggles up right between the two of us and sleeps the rest of the night. Here lately though, Bubba has really tried to be firm with her about getting out of bed. I realized today that it's probably been a week or two since this has happened! Despite the kicks in the back and her hand on my stomach ALL NIGHT, I miss her! She is so precious!

Bubba has convinced me to sign her up for Pre-K next year, which she of course is thrilled about! I on the other hand question the whole thing and can't imagine her not with us during the day? Izzy won't know what to do without her "tissy!"

Ugh...
So next year Emma, I may let you go to Pre-K or "big school" as you like to say, but that doesn't mean you have to stop rubbing my tummy!
I love you sweet Emma!
