The "Pro" and our whereabouts of Summer 10'

The kids have kept us quite busy this summer as you can tell by lack of posting! We have been traveling some to family reunions or visiting grandparents! We have been spending most of our time outdoors swimming, fishing, or just playing in the mud (Izzy!).  We have taken up a few sports this summer such as tennis and golf! We even have our own golf and tennis pro who is at our service at the end of most any day! He truly has amazed me with his patience toward our kids! They are developing great swings in their golf game and have really enjoyed the coaching and teaching the "Pro" is giving us! I must say he is pretty cute too...

Isaac of course doesn't need any help! First born doing it all to perfection!

Mary B and Emma both love to play! Mary B. is actually enjoying tennis also, her and Bubba will go over to the courts a lot at the end of the day!
Emma sometimes gets preoccupied and starts chasing Charlie with Izzy all over the golf course....
We make at least one trip across the street to the pond most every day! The kids love it and turns out it saves me the time and money of a community pool! Did I mention they allow dogs?!!!!! Although they both swim great I still make them wear vest in the pond it's so deep!

The kids experienced their first drive in movie this past week. They had a blast in the back of the 'burb' laid out with food and drinks! Bubba of course prepared well in advance to have blankets, pillows, and snacks well stocked! Izzy and Emma both passed out by the second show, but the older two made it all the way through and loved staying up so late!
It has been a very exciting summer so far. Isaac seems to have a different friend over everyday, and has caught more fish with his daddy than I can even count! He is such a natural just like Bubba! He is swinging the golf club like mad and loves him some tennis too! I hope we can send him to a camp next year here on campus.

Mary B. is riding her bike on campus a little more with her older friends Casey and Sophie, mainly to the bookstore or library and back home!!! She has lost another tooth which she managed to loosen and pull on a trip to Nashville from Sewanee! We looked back at her as she is yelling "Momma look!" She was grinning from ear with ear with blood oozing out!  SHE IS FEARLESS, but oh so cute! I am posting her talent show debut next!!!!
Emma is enjoying the traveling we are doing although she is such a home body and loves to be in her own bed! She is starting to swim more without her vest and would love nothing more than to be in the deep end with the big kids! I watch her like a hawk right now... can't believe she will be 4 at the end of the month.

Izzy is WILD! She is identical to Miss Mary B.! IDENTICAL!!!!!!! It's almost scary... tonight as I was making dinner I go outside to check on them and there she is playing in a puddle of mud... her favorite thing! The kid has a vocabulary like you wouldn't believe! She is a handful but we love every minute of it!
So hopefully I can update you again soon on how our summer is going! As of now it's going really well and we are staying so busy I have no time to stop and share...

Your pictures are fabulous! Please share what software and camera you are using. Reading your blog and seeing your children enjoying outdoors and the small things takes me back to my childhood and what I pray I will be able to give to my daughter! And to also mention your son looks just like Jody!

Blessings,
Jennifer
