Our birthday weekend!

As most of you know Bubba and I share our birthday, which is October 3rd!!! I can remember the very day we realized that we had the same birthday. If you don't know our story... we met on a blind date through a mutual friend. He drove up to Knoxville from Nashville just to meet me. While trying to find out where I lived he realized that I also shared the same apartment complex with some of his other closest friends!!! It was all kinda of ironic and from the moment we met it went from 0 to 60, and we never looked back! Which there is so much more to it than that, but most of you don't care to hear! I think I love to talk about it because it takes me back to such a precious time! Now everyone is probably nauseous...
Anywho... back to the story! The first time we ever met we ended up spending the whole weekend together! We were on our way back from a long and very detailed date of getting to know one another and I asked him, "So Bubba (still couldn't believe that was his name), when is your birthday?" He then repied with, "October 3rd." I was shocked and couldn't believe it, I made him pull out his wallet just to see if he was joshing me! Come to find out his license was correct and we not only had amazing chemistry... BUT WE WERE BORN ON THE SAME DAY!!!!! So once we realized that we just decided to get married right then and there... ha, just kidding! But it did happen pretty quick! Once again, another story for another day!
So this past birthday we were fortunate enough to get away for a few days thanks to the grandparents and aunts taking the kids!!! We took off to Knoxville, where it all started!!! We had a great time tailgating with Bubba's old friend Phillip and his sweet friend Wendy! It was so relaxing to get a way for a bit and just spend some time together. We held hands alot, ate alot, and laughed alot... well except when the Vols got their tail whipped by Auburn!!! Bubba pouted then! We walked alot of hills on campus, it took me back to a really sweet time! I miss my college friends, I miss the air of college football and the excitement on campus, but I wouldn't trade anything for what I have now. My life was forever changed by one knock on the door! Now I get to share my birthday for the rest of my life with my best friend! Who by the way is the best looking 33 year old I know!!! I love you Bubba. Thanks for a great birthday weekend!
