Toothless Mary B.!

This blog is dedicated to our toothless children Mary B. and Isaac.
About two weeks ago Mary B came running down the stairs with a big huge gap in the front of her mouth! She had been wiggling the same front tooth for two days and finally (as she was suppose to be sleeping in her bed) she got that tooth loose (of course!) Immediately following her great big smile and bloody gums, Isaac, five minutes later, loss one of this bottom teeth! So everyone should be in bed at this point, but instead we are all running around jumping up and down excited that the tooth fairy would be visiting that night! Good incentive to get them back in bed! They were so cute, every time one looses a tooth it's like this shock and awe expression comes over them. THEY GET SO EXCITED!!! As if some of us don't have enough energy all ready. Needless to say, we had made a tent that night for them to sleep in( this was before knowing that teeth would be wiggled out). Let me just say how funny it must of been to watch the Tooth Fairy squeeze through little holes in the tent, just to get those teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, what a job!
So last week Mary B's other front tooth started to loosen up! Now she won't give up until she gets it out! Sure enough she comes home from school with tooth in hand once again! Mrs. Rebecca allowed her and Caroline to go to the bathroom and pull her tooth! SHE WAS SO PROUD! It is crazy that it was just last Christmas that both Isaac's front teeth were missing! Aww... time is flying by us to quickly!

Yesterday I took the kids to a skating party. I have decided I will get them skates (Isaac: "INLINE SKATES, MOM!") for Christmas, they love it so much! I got them all buckled up and Mary B.'s favorite song came on. Of course it is Miley Cyrus! She looked up at me and said "Mom, I have got to get out there this is my favorite song," and she skated off! I looked at her for a split second and realized that both her and Isaac are growing up before my eyes! I don't know if I am hormonal or what, but I started crying as she skated off. I mean really, we are at a birthday party for someone else and I am crying over my kids loosing teeth and such. So this little number (which I really like myself) is for Mary B. and Isaac! I am really hoping we don't loose anymore teeth, at least for a little while!

Here are some extra shots of the kids while I took some pictures of toothless Mary B.

Izzy: eating dirt

Emma: Who won't let me take a picture of her face, but so graciously let me have a shot of the worm she just caught!

Isaac and Daddy: Daddy teaching Isaac the five step drop for quarterbacks!!! Oblivious to everything that was happening!

Cortney, I love how you tell stories... can just picture everything you are writing. Too funny that you cried at the skating party but I can see myself doing the same thing!

Too funny! I do that all the time...cry over the little things. :) I cried the other day because Merrick stopped saying "bug" wrong. (He used to say "bud") haha. :)
