I think it's really hard at this point in our lives to make a lot of friendships, because it's true most of the conversations revolve around a constant interruption of commands or questions!!! Which is all part of the phase of children, and of course we wouldn't trade it for anything. It does how ever make you appreciate those old friends who have been there through it all! You know the ones who remember you when you were sane and could hold a conversation? The friend who could not talk to you for weeks, and knows just when to "text" you if you are feeling down! The kinda friend, that even if you forget a birthday or a big event, knows you love her just the same. The kinda friend that appreciates a "DATE NIGHT" with friends, which consist of long dinner, coffee, and of course dessert! The kind of friend who truly appreciates the off season, and in some small way, although miles apart , can feel the pain of a loss, even if it's not her own!!! The kind of friend who sits up with you till the late hours of the night, although bobbing her head, still tries to ask you questions about yourself!!! THOSE FRIENDS ARE PRICELESS!!

Bubba and I have had a some great close friends together in our marriage that we have connected with either through church, marriage, babies, or basketball. I know God knew what he was doing when he gave us those friends. We love to see them, we love to hear from them, we are inspired by them! It's been so ne
at to see where God has taken them and it's been so special to watch all of our families grow. I really feel blessed to have such special friends! The best part of old friendships is coming together again, and picking up right where you left off, no matter how big your families get!
