I was woken up early this morning by Charlie, who was in much need of a bathroom break. He really has transitioned so well. He goes through the whole night without using the restroom, and normally makes it till at least 6:30 wh

en Bubba and I get up, but this morning was different! Oh well, I decided to get up a little early and put some coffee on! YUMMY! Charlie and I sat outside and I spent some time reading my Bible and praying. One of the things we have been pretty anxious about lately is our house in Virginia! WE NEED IT TO SELL!!! We got a call yesterday from our relator saying she had shown our house 3 days in a row to the same people! This was exciting news... the thought of putting renters in the house for another winter, with hopes to sell next spring or summer, just seems so depressing! So I was praying about that some this morning. I also was reading in Proverbs, and man, there is some real wisdom in those verses!!! GOOD STUFF! As I was reading I looked up from my Bible and saw some blonde curls peaking around the door! IT WAS MARY B.! Just as vibrant and precious as ever (even as a baby, she was always happy, strong willed, but

happy). We decided to take the dog for a walk together and I quizzed her on some questions out of her brain blaster book (she loves that!) We stop at the end of the road and talked about the beauty of the morning then we said a sweet little prayer thanking God for his creation! It was a good time! It got me thinking about what Mary B. is going to learn in her text books about creation if we keep her in the public school setting??? YIKES!!!! Then I began to think, how will I be able to defend against what her teachers might teach her. Man, I better know my stuff! This parenting thing is getting really tricky, when I think about the future too much, I get really nervous. It reminds me to bring it all to the cross, I can't go wrong when I sit there! The house, the kids, our future it's all apart of his sovereign plan... That so easy to say, but so much harder to do!
