morning to go out of town and we were in desperate need of getting out
of the house. Mimi came to the rescue and took us to the Chattanooga
Aquarium on Sunday! We had a great time....

The first thing we saw were t
he Seahorses! The kids were so amazed!!!
I thought this was an interesting fact,
try explaining that one to curious six
and seven year olds!

We played with Sharks and Stingrays!

We pretended to jump in the Tennessee River!

We got a little to close to the Stingrays at times....
We Smiths are not afraid! The security guard
might be afraid for us, but "WE" are not afraid!!!!

We went to the butterfly sanctuary and there were butterflies
everywhere!!!Most everyone just stoodthere with their hands
out and the butterflies would come land on you!!! The
kids loved it, they all said it was
one of their favorite things!

Notice the butterfly on Emma's head! She stood still for a good
while just to get this shot, way to go Emma!

We had a face-off with a couple of
fish! The kids laughed and laughed!

We stared at the Jellyfish and I snapped, snapped,
snapped away...

We saw the largest turtle
shell in the world!It kinda
put the little snapping
turtle we caught on Saturday
to shame! Isaac thought this
was the coolest thing ever!!!
Finally, we tried to get one group shot in the
souvenir shop, of all places! Not exactly our best
picture, but we sure had a great day!Thank you MiMi,
you sure saved us from another
boring and rainy day!

Cute pictures! :) We took Merrick to the Baltimore aquarium in August and he LOVED it. He calls everything "sheesh, sheesh" instead of fish. :)
